He actually sat on Santa's lap without crying this year!! Oh, believe me, there was MUCH hesitation! The entire time we waited in line (only about 10 min., but seemed like an eternity), he whined and teared up that he didn't want to take a picture with Santa. We told him that was fine, but he had to tell Santa what he wanted or he might just get baby dolls or pink stuff for Christmas (aren't we mean :) ). So while we waited in line, Blake and Carson played on the side a little and tried to get him not to think about it.

Finally it was our turn and Carson hopped in the stroller with his Toys R Us magazine that he brought. What helped the entire situation, Santa actually came to Carson and talked to him first. Carson pointed out and told Santa that he wanted a talking Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll and told him a few other things. Carson and Santa had a little conversation going...it was so cute! Then Santa asked if he would like to come take a picture with him...and to our amazement, he said, "YES!"

We were so proud of him....and in case someone hasn't seen the last couple of years with Santa, I've included those for your amusement :) !

Merry Christmas BJ!

Well it's been a little over a month since we've lost BJ. He has been missed so much! Carson still asks for him and it is so hard when he says, "I miss BJ"...makes me all terry eyed.

On Sunday, mom, dad and I met with the Thornton's (their son was killed in our accident that paralized BJ) for lunch and then went and put a Christmas Trees up for the boys. BJ's final resting spot is directly behind Brent's, one over...so eventually Mrs. Jorenda will be directly in front of BJ and then Mr. Kevin beside her. Mom was so excited that when they went to pick out a spot for BJ, the guy told her it was the very LAST spot available in that section. It was like, it was saved for BJ. BJ is next to his best friend again...I know they are having lots of fun in Heaven!
