Bluebonnet Swamp Toddler Time

A couple months ago, we signed Carson up to attend Toddler Trail Time at the Bluebonnet Swamp. We were supposed to go every Thursday in September, but Hurricane Gustav had other plans for us and today was the first day for the Trail Time.

Carson had an awesome time, he loved looking at all the snakes, turtles and spiders. But most of all, he just loved running around. First, we went into the classroom where they got to color two pictures of spiders and make a spider hat. Then, we went outside to walk the trails and look at nature. Carson was more interested in throwing rocks than anything though. When we got back to the classroom, they had a snack and juice waiting on them. Then there was a movie about spiders, but Carson wasn't the least bit interested in it, he just ran around and played with all the kids. We go back next Thursday for more fun.
