What a great weekend! Saturday, Carson and I went to Alexandra's 2nd Birthday party. It was great, we really enjoyed ourselves. Carson loved jumping in the Bounce House and playing with all his friends, it was very hard to get him to leave!
After the party, Carson and I got home just in time to watch the LSU football game with Dada. Man, that was an intense game to Alabama. LSU lost in overtime. :( Great game though!
On Sunday, Carson and I went to Mimi's and Pop's house (our Sunday ritual). We did LOTS of pecan picking. They have over 100 pecan trees on their property. Though the pecans are not as plentiful as last year, we still are getting a lot. Carson mostly likes to just pull the wagon around and we have to chase him down or call him back to us so we can put our collection of pecans in.
It is now Black Powder Season for hunting and Pop's finally got him a 5 point Buck today!! Yay Pop's!! Nothing like deer meat...yummy! Anyway, when Pop's got home from cleaning his deer, he had to shoot off one of his Black Powder guns (it was still loaded from last year....yes, they are all locked up, for those of you who do not know)....and needless to say, after Pop's shot his gun off, Carson had to go and run and get his gun. He started "practicing" shooting the deer, it'll be a few years before Pop's takes him hunting, Pop's says he has to be potty trained first...and seeing that Carson has absolutely NO INTEREST in the potty, it'll be a while before he goes hunting!

He is so photogenic! And he looks so innocent, but we know he's all boy under that sly smile.
