Fun in the Sun; My Little Chef

The weather the last couple of days has been beautiful! We went to the zoo with our playgroup and Carson and I had a blast. Carson loved looking at all the animals and most of all, running wild with all his buddies! We also went on Friday to a park with the same playgroup. Carson had a great time running around with Jackson...that is until Carson started getting emotional on me. For some reason, he started to get very whinny and not wanting to share, so after a little while, I was done with it and it was time to leave. Carson fell asleep not even 5 min. after leaving the park, so I attribute all the whining and not sharing to tiredness.

Fun on the slide

Today, the weather has been so wild. This morning when we got up and going, we went outside and played for a little while and I ended up changing Carson into a short sleeve shirt because he was getting warm with all of his running around. About 15 min. later we came in to take a break and was going to go back outside and the temperature had went down about 7 degrees! So we decided to go visit Maw maw just to get out of the house. Once there and visited for a while, we left and it was so cold outside! This darn Louisiana weather!!!

So tonight, Carson was my little helper in the kitchen. He put on his little chefs apron and helped stir his favorite Mac and Cheese. After eating supper, we decided to make those cookies that we had made the dough for earlier in the week. After cooking them, we were going to ice them, but come to find out, we had used all the powdered sugar on the previous batch of cookies that we made. So it was just plan ole' butter cookies for desert. They were pretty tasty.

We also had a family movie night and watched the movie Wall-e. Carson got this movie for Christmas from Nona and Gramps. It was a good movie, Carson asked questions all through the movie and then started crying when Wall-e was hanging onto the spaceship to chasing after Eve. He kept saying, "Where's Wall-e going, Where's Wall-e going"....he was scared I guess Wall-e was going to get hurt...yep, that's my TOUGH, EMOTIONAL little boy!
